After working for several years in both music journalism and public relations, Liz Lawson realized that her true dream was to combine those two passions into one - and thus was born Deus Ex Machina Publicity. Latin for "god from the machine," Deus Ex Machina represents what she imagined her company would do - help struggling indie bands to overcome the seemingly insurmountable odds that exist in today's music market.
The growth of DEM Publicity over the past two years has happened naturally and organically - and as such has turned into both a full-time job and full-time passion for Liz. She brings to the table what other firms can't - reasonable and affordable prices, a passion for her subject matter, and love for all the bands that she chooses to represent.
