Captain's Dead writes about MADELINE’S “I WAITED ALL DAY”
sometimes, i just gotta kick myself for no other reason than being lazy. lazy when it comes to paying more than half an ear to certain records, or most records as it were. what usually happens is that i will start listening to something then for whatever reason turn off said record and proceed to listen to the truckers’ dirty south for the 767th time or something along those lines. the reason i bring it up is cause i just got done listening to madeline’s 09 release, white flag and its damn fine record. sadly, it was probably one them that got turned off due to the above scenario. she’s going on a brief tour of the southeast and is actually stopping in new orleans on the 13th of march. the good folks at orange twin are releasing her tour ep sometime in march, but you can grab a track below. btw, its also being released on vinyl….
